Silva Sale Events at The Wanderers Club
Silva Sale Events has been appointed to the legendary Wanderers Sports Club to facilitate and manage all banqueting requirements. This necessitates overseeing an intimate dinner for two in the chic Centre Court Restaurant, an elaborate wedding in the spectacular Ball Room to managing a large scale corporate team building event or conference.
The Wanderers Sports Club which was virtually destroyed by a fire on 29th September 2004 has “been skilfully restored into an icon of the future of Johannesburg,” Judith Soskin.
The interior boasts four striking social spots, an elegant members’ lounge, a sophisticated cigar lounge, a trendy restaurant and a large undercover terrace overlooking beautifully manicured grounds. Family-orientated, the clubhouse has introduced a fully-equipped playroom catering for children of all ages.
The clubhouse still encompasses the historic and traditional nature of the Club, reconstructed in an entirely contemporary manner.
