I would like to thank you so much for everything.  This is the first time that I have had a problem free session.  Many people have commented about the food, venue, parking and friendly staff.

The staff are great, friendly and very helpful. The barman Geoff was great with no hurry to close as his comments to me were” if I leave the party stops so continue”  Moses was great always around helping and going the extra mile to please.

The sound guys, were very professional, friendly and just great

The food was my worry, but what lovely food

• CIO said that the food was like home made
• Financial manager said she did not leave the samon as it was fresh, delicious an nice portions.

The venue is great and such freedom to hang around outside was just great.

I would also like to thank you Ursula for everything, friendliness, all the great organising, going the extra mile to assist me and coming to the venue to check etc,  I am so very happy with everything and yes we would like to use your venue again and of course I will communicate this to the other girls around SAB.

Personally I have only ever received the best and friendliest help, even when I have difficult requests, and to top it off, on short notice. It is a beautiful venue with friendly staff, a real pleasure to work with them on a daily basis!

JHB Y’ello Toast Breakfast 24 April 2008

Thank you once again to everyone that made today’s Yellow toast such a huge success.  It was an absolute pleasure to have you all as part of the MTN team.

 To Finer details for the outstanding eye for detail – once again, outdoing yourselves!!!  Could not have done today’s magnificent event without your invaluable contribution!!  Thanks so much Michelle, and Franci  - you are true stars.  Kelvin -  your team really excelled themselves today – a great big thank you to them as well!

Our overall rating today was 94%  - and there was rave reviews for David Grier’s talk.  The best comment received was “This was the best Breakfast ever.  I have never  laughed and cried so much in one day

Hi Larissa,  

I know we handed in feedback sheets at the end of the breakfast but I feel compelled to elaborate on what a profound effect this breakfast has had on me.

Let me start by saying that this was no doubt the best MTN breakfast I have ever attended. ( I have been attending these for years now.)  Never have I cried and laughed so much in one morning!   

Your guest speaker was absolutely amazing!  His speech made me re-evaluate my contribution to humanity in a way I have never experienced before.  David is a true champion of our nation and someone we can all aspire to be like.   

I can assure you that everyone who attended felt exactly the way I did!  As for Kevin Perkins........that was just the cherry on the top............BRILLIANT!   

Thank you to the MTN team for such an amazing morning.  This is tough act to follow!

Dear Ursula and the Wanderers team

I would just like to pay tribute to you and your team. I have been in the Events and Décor industry for a good 12 years and have had the opportunity of working with numerous venues and suppliers.

Over the last 3 years I have been lucky to have been contracted to your venue by a number of clients. You know that I have always commented on the most obliging and unbelievable service you and your team renders. Even down to the set up crew who always have a smile on their face and in fact some of my function requests can be a bit beyond the norm but everyone respects this and carries out my requests with no problem

When I receive a contract to work at your venue I breathe a sigh of relief as you and your team take the stress, headaches and worry off my hands. There has been some challenging moments which is the norm in our line of business but if this has happened on the rare occasion there has always been a proactive approach and the dilemma immediately solved.

Ursula your attitude to all my functions is always noted – you give them so much care and go beyond the call of duty. I have at no other venues witnessed banqueting managers put such effort in the function and I have seen so many times when you are not even meant to attend the function but do in the interests of the smooth running of the function

In our industry today, there are so many up and coming event companies and my famous saying is you are as “good as your last function” this is so true and if something goes wrong my client reflects this on my business and not the venues. I am therefore assured when I do a function at the Wanderers that I have the full confidence in conducting and hosting a successful function for my clients at the Wanderers

At our MTN functions done at your venue evaluations are done by the guests and the scores of Wanderers echoes my sentiments.
